The Aico Ei3014 is a mains-powered heat alarm designed for kitchens, garages and other rooms where a smoke alarm would cause false alarms. Its fast-response thermistor sensor triggers at 58°C, giving reliable protection against fire without sounding for cooking fumes or steam.

Heat Alarm or Smoke Alarm in a Kitchen?
A heat alarm is the right choice for kitchens. Smoke alarms react to cooking fumes and toast, while the Aico Ei3014 only responds to a rise in temperature, so it protects the room without nuisance alarms.
Is the Aico Ei3014 Battery Replaceable?
No. The lithium cell is sealed and recharges from the mains. Replace the whole alarm at the end of its 10-year life; the Easi-fit base makes this a quick swap.

Can’t rate ‘product’ as I haven’t installed them yet. But I’ve got what I ordered and service was faultless. Prompt and efficient. These alarms have a ten year life and I couldn’t find any reference to what the expiry date was when ordering, so just hoped for the best. On arrival both alarms are good for ten years plus 5 months, so very happily with better than expected/hoped for products.

I later received an updated email on 4th July advising the delivery will arrive today, which it did at 10pm! Amazing service. My electrician recommended the Aico brand and advised me to purchase them as his wholesaler could not match or beat the prices from ACAS Electrical. I also did some searching and ACAS is unbeatable for the price. Overall very happy with ACAS and the delivery however, this box looked as though it had been opened and was a bit dented on one side plus the expiry date was one year less than the other units I had received which is a bit disappointing hence one star reduction. My electrician is due on Monday and can start to fit the unit so will see if everything is ok.

Good value and in good condition
It is very easy to replace the main body of the old Aico alarm with this one. The Audiolink App enables you to check on the alarm's status. It is a shame that you can't buy the body only, when you're updating the alarm, to save waste. One star deducted for that!
Comparatively priced with prompt delivery
These arrived quickly and have been installed as replacements for the older models. Not a difficult job - just a little bit of decoration needed due to different shape.

With rising costs all around I looked around to see who is selling Aico products at the best price and ACAS Electrical were the ones!
The only issue was the product title which was for the Aico Ei3014 Heat detector which I knew was 230v with a built in lithium back up battery. But the description said 9v battery. So before purchasing I emailed their sales team to make sure what I was buying was correct and they replied in speedy fashion agreeing I was right in my assessment.
So I bought the goods and they turned up within a couple of days.
Will defo use these guys again.
