These filaments, albeit similar in appearance, are much more efficient and robust than their traditional counterparts. Where a traditional bulb might use approximately 40W to produce 470 lumens, these modern LED bulbs use just 5W.
This - coupled with the bulb’s vastly superior nominal lifetime of 15,000 hours - has the potential to reduce lighting bills by up to 90%.
The bulb's standard GLS shape and B22 fitment enable it to retrofit directly to any existing fitting designed to accept similar bayonet cap bulbs.
