C-TEC C4408D ActiV Diode Base – For Use With ActiV Addressable Fire Detectors
The C-TEC C4408D ActiV Diode Base is a high-quality detector base designed for use with C-TEC’s ActiV range of addressable fire alarm systems. It incorporates a blocking diode to ensure that detector removal does not affect the operation of other devices on the loop, maintaining fault monitoring and zone integrity.
This base is compatible with C-TEC’s ActiV range of detectors and is suitable for installations where BS 5839 compliance and system reliability are essential.
- Compatible with C-TEC’s entire range of ActiV fire detectors.
- Third-party certified to the relevant parts of EN54 in conjunction with our ActiV detectors.
- Easy to fit with lots of working space.
- Can be ceiling mounted in any orientation due to the true 360° degree viewing angle of the LED indicator strips on all ActiV detectors.
- Integrated detector/base locking mechanism, head removal tool and ID tag.
- Simple ‘click and twist’ design.
- Remote LED terminals for the optional connection to a BF318 Remote indicator.
