The BG Electrical Nexus Metal NPC22U3W is a polished chrome double (2 gang) switched plug socket with white inserts and 2x 3.1A USB chargers, manufactured by British General Electrical.
At home in the office but suitable for a wide range of both commercial and domestic applications, the NPC22U3W double socket has a modern slim profile, white inserts and softly rounded corners which allows it to complement almost any decor. With a lightly lacquered surface to reduce the impression of fingerprints and no visible plastic around the switches, it will continue to look clean and tidy even with repeated usage.
The NPC22U3W features 2 Type A USB sockets (3.1A, 5V), which are suitable for charging cameras, mobile phones and a wide range of other personal devices. These sockets feature BG’s Smart USB technology, which automatically puts the socket into standby mode when the device is fully charged, detects the USB device and tailors the style of charging to suit and has an overload protection function – all of which keeps the costs low and the consumer safe.
The socket features a dual earth wiring as standard ensuring high integrity connection and can easily be retrofitted into an existing backbox (25mm minimum box depth required). For further ease of installation, all terminals are angled and colour coded and have captive screws.
