A cooker switch is the 45A double pole switch that isolates an electric cooker, oven or hob from the mains. Cooker Switch with Socket or Without
A cooker switch with socket (a cooker control unit) combines the 45A switch with a 13A plug socket for a kettle or small appliance on the same plate. A plain 45A cooker switch saves space and is the usual choice when the socket is fitted separately.

Fitting a Cooker Switch
